Iran war veteran and cinema/TV producer Hamid Akhoundi has passed away at the age of 56 in the Iranian capital Tehran.
Akhoundi, departed this life due to cardiac arrest on May 26.
Born 1961, Akhoundi studied in physics at university. He started his artistic activities by writing short stories at the age of 14.
The newly demised artist started his cinematic work in the year 1990 and went on producing films such as ‘The Third Day’ (2007), Overweight (2014) ‘End of the Service’ (2013) and ‘Mahoor’ (2017) which was his last work.
